Located on the second floor of the legendary Warung Made in Seminyak, Kaiana is like a breath of fresh air in the Seminyak area. The spacious spa has a gorgeous and chic design, and I squealed a little when I first stepped in the lobby. How can you not, with the pretty chandelier in the reception area, and the overall French colonial concept and white walls? It also has everything you need, including salon, manicure and pedicure stations, reflexology lounge, as well as massage rooms – and there’s even a room for couples.

treatments
I have to emphasise the “everything you need” part, because the treatments are just so varied that you might want to try them all. Let me help you out by recommending the house signature treatment: Kaiana Indulgence (Rp.950,000), where two therapists simultaneously give you a massage. Or you could also opt for the treatment that I tried, the Vanilla Coconut Passion (Rp.450,000). This two-hour long treatment starts with a vanilla footbath, coconut body wash, and coconut and vanilla body scrub – and is followed by a 60-minute body massage. I can assure you that after the treatment, you will not only feel rejuvenated but also fresh and relaxed.

The spa uses the Kaiana house brand for products like body wash, body lotion and massage oil. They also use Pevonia for skin care, and O.P.I, Chanel and Dior for nail polish.
